On January 24 last, the official commissioning took place of the five 'new playpens' on the Children's Ward of the Diakonessen Hospital Paramaribo. As part of Republic Bank's social-welfare program The Power to Make a Difference, the renovation and upgrading of these five rooms (called ‘playpens’) started in 2016.

Nigel Baptiste Takes Up Office

The transaction was approved by the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago and the Central Bank of Suriname.
Republic Bank Invests $20 Million In NGO And CBO Causes

Republic Bank Records $ 572.7 Million In Half-Year Profits
Port-of-Spain, Trinidad: April 30, 2015: The Republic Bank Group has recorded a profit attributable to shareholders of $ 572.7 million for the half-year ended March 31, 2015, an increase of 2.1% over the corresponding period last year. Total assets stood at $59.7 billion at March 31, 2015 an increase of 1.8% from March, 2014.
