What do I need to open a chequing or savings account? Residents
Two (2) forms of identification (e.g. ID card, Driver's Licence or Passport)
Proof of Income: Employer’s declaration or pension declaration (not older than 1 month), recent salary slips*
Proof of current address: recent CBB extract or recent invoice of utility company (not older than 3 months)
First deposit: minimum of SRD 25, USD 50 or Euro 50 (chequing account) and SRD/USD/Euro 100 (savings account)
Non-Residents

Reference letter or bank statements of the foreign bank (not older than 6 months) Proof of Income: Employer’s declaration or pension declaration (not older than 1 month), recent salary slips
Proof of current address: recent extract of the population register or recent invoice of utility company (not older than 3 months)
