School voor Jong Talent Suriname

Paramaribo, Suriname, May 5, 2025: "Children are great imitators. So, give them something great to imitate."

Republic Bank Suriname, through its Power to Make a Difference (PMAD) Program, proudly announces its first initiative for the fiscal year 2024-2025. The Bank has partnered with School voor Jong Talent Suriname (SJTS) to build a playground for children aged 4 to 6 years.

On May 5, 2025, the official contract was signed, marking the start of this impactful project. Father Kross, Chairman of the SJTS Foundation, expressed his gratitude to the Bank, highlighting the playground’s potential to significantly impact children's development.

The playground is expected to be completed within 10 weeks, offering a safe and joyful space for young children to play, learn, and grow.

This initiative aligns with the PMAD pillar "The Power to Learn," promoting education and holistic development among young learners.
